Crimping

Yesterday I bought my first set of Crimping pliers!


I have just been using normal pliers as I didn’t realise that they would really make a difference.

After reading several reviews about how they make jewellery look more finished and beautiful I have gone ahead and bought some.

Fingers crossed they arrive soon as I can’t wait to use them!

Photography

Today I decided to get my folksy shop up and running again but am having some issues with photography!

Using photosop to edit out the background makes the earrings look wrong.

I think I need to find a better way of photographing them.

Bank Holiday

It’s nearly the end of the working week and I’m looking forward to the Bank holiday weekend.

It just seems to have sneaked up on me and I’m worried that I’ll forget on Monday and get ready for work!

I don’t have any definite plans at the moment for the long weekend, I might do a car boot sale and de-clutter and hang out with my RD team.

Thinking about it now, Monday for me is going to be all about making some new kitsch and perhaps some classic pieces and researching a possible new collection.

Corral Beads

I’ve been crazy about corral beads for a while but haven’t produced anything to satisfy my lust.


I’ve been looking into more traditional jewellery than the things I currently produce on my site – Less Kitsch more classic and I think I’m going to move my Folksy shop in that direction as I’ve not used my folksy shop in a while.

Crisps!

I have just discovered the joy of walkers French fries! – I might have had the original type chip sticks when I was younger but never the ready salted variety.

I’m feeling really pleased chomping through my 83 calories worth!
